Week 1: Exploring UnTextbook - So many options!

This was such a wonderful idea! There are so many options to choose from, and it's really cool that everyone has the opportunity to read and explore exactly the stories that appeal to them!

While I was exploring the UnTextbook, the first one that caught my attention was Alice in Wonderland. Most everyone has seen the Disney rendition of the story, but there are few that have actually read the original story. I have always wanted to read Lewis Carroll's original version, so what better of an opportunity than now?

Since I'm planning on reading "Alice in Wonderland", I figured I might as well follow it up with the sequel Alice Through the Looking Glass, since of course, that makes the most sense. The first story had so much fame that the second story tends to be left out. I can't wait to check it out!

Another story that caught my eye was King Arthur. The story of King Arthur and Camelot has been told numerous of times in numerous ways, but I think I will enjoy being able to read the entire story. Often times the story of how he became king and the story of Excalibur is told, but the remainder of the story often gets left out. I would love to read the rest!

A similar story to "Beauty and the Beast"? That's my kind of story! Cupid and Psyche definitely has my attention, as "Beauty and the Beast" is one of my all time favorite Disney movies. I had no idea that there was a story so similar behind it. I'm excited to dive in!
